Purchase Order prepayments for line types of "Fixed Asset"

BC allows for prepayments on a P.O.  BC also allows for the purchase of fixed assets via a P.O.

BC seems to have a bug, in that it will not allow a prepayment to be generated for a line type of "Fixed Asset".  As soon as you try to set a prepayment percentage (either at the header or line item level) BC throws an error regarding a Gen. Business Posting Group/Gen. Product Posting Group combo of "DOMESTIC" and "" being invalid.  Since fixed assets don't have General Product Posting Group and BC no longer allows a blank general product posting group when configuring a general posting set up line, this seems very problemic.

Does anyone know of a way around this limitation?

    Thanks for the tip.

Assigning a Gen. Product Posting Group to the G/L account associated with the FA posting set-up worked.

    Hi,

The above mentioned link is not working. Can you please let me know how did you fix this issue?

    Hi Aamirr,

Please search for your FA posting setup and pick your relevant G/L account and define Gen. Prod. Posting group on that G/L account then reselect the Fix assets on Purchase Line.

    Hope issue will fix.

    Many Thanks,
