Hello,

are there any News or Informations if there will be an integrated ECM in AX7?

In the new NAV there is a integrated ECM, so i think it could be possible that there should be one in the new AX, too.

Have anyone seen a Roadmap or a Statement of direction for the new AX and the planned addons?

    Hi Manuel,

    You can find information about the new Dynamics AX on the next website: http://ax.help.dynamics.com/

    One of the first links on that page is the new and changed features. ECM is not mentioned. I suppose you are referring to Enterprise Content Management? There were some add-on solutions for AX 2012. I haven't looked into details for AX7 yet.

    Note that on some points there is an integration with Sharepoint which for some persons is also sufficient.

    What exact features are you interested in for ECM in AX7?

    Note that the latest roadmap is also not mentioning new modules.

    Hi Andre,

    thank you for your quick respond an the informations you mentioned.

    Yes, I am referring to Enterprise Content Management. Actually we use AX 2012 and there I found many add-on Solutions from different companies.

    I thought it would be the most comfortable way if the new Dynamics AX will have an included ECM like the new NAV.

    We are looking for Features regarding e-invoicing and for the digital archiving.
