Notes button missing

Hello all,

I have created a custom screen with 1 Navigation(Level0), 1 Lookup(Level1) and 1 Detail(Level2) level. I am missing the Notes button on LEVEL1(the Lookup Level). I have added a key field(set the level property to 1,k) and there is a NoteID field in the Table.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Regards,

    RE: Notes button missing

    Hello again Blaine,

I have tried the three options provided - Left Side, Right Side and None and still the Note button is not showing.

I forgot to mention that the Control with the Key field is SAFCombo. Is this a problem?

On the one key field for Level1, set the note button property to something other than “3-none” and see if it appears.

    Hello Blaine,

Here is my answer for your questions:

1 - Yes, the notes button is shown in the other two Levels(LEVEL0 and LEVEL2). Also notes are saved for both levels.

2 - The NoteButton property is set to "3 - none".

3 - I have only one Key field for LEVEL1.

4 - I am not using SAFGrid in LEVEL1. I am using SAFGrid on LEVEL2.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions based on my answers.

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards,

    Vladislav.

    "Here are a few questions:

1 - Does the note button appear on your other levels OK? Or are they not supposed to have notes (no noteid field)?.

2 - Is the NoteButton property set to something other then "3-none" on your level1 key field?

3 - do you have more then 1 key field for level1?

4 - are you using an safgrid in level1?
