Business Rule not setting default value

Hi,

I have created the Business rule with below condition,

when created on field contains data in case Entity,

Then i wanted to have my custom priority field(Priority status) with default value EMERGENCY

Scope :ALL forms.

But the default value is not setting in Priority status field which has two values in option-set (Emergency,Normal) .

    Hi DivyaShankar,

    So basically, you want to show this status for saved records i.e. every record that is saved should have the default value as Emergency (Because the createdon field is populated then)

    Can you try changing the scope to "Entity" and see if it works?

    Hi Divya,

    That is strange!  Are you expecting that to trigger when you load the new record form or an existing one? Because the new one will not have created on value.

    In second condition it will work when you load the form. post a screenshot and try to deactivate and activate the rule again.

    Thanks For pointing that to change the Scope as Entity.In my case while opening the case form it should have default value so I changed the condition now its working.
