Hello,
Is there any add-on/solution that allows us to use the web-cam to insert pictures for records in entities? In other words, while we are on a record, is there any solution where we can directly tap on the web-cam tab in the record to take a picture and store it for the record?

No my client does not want to use a mobile app. They want to use the webcam to be able to insert pictures of records. We were using this solution crmattachmentimage.codeplex.com/documentation . However, after upgrading to crm 2016, the solution stopped working as it is not compatible with the newer versions.

    Hi Nour,

You can create an asp.net page with Web cam functionality and host it in IIS. you can open this page on button click from the respective entity ribbon. you can pass record Guid from ribbon button as parameter to asp.net page. after capturing image from web cam you can upload the image to specific record.

refer this article to Capturing Image From Web Cam in ASP.Net

The solution you installed will not longer work in new version because Silverlight (XAP) web resource is deprecated in new version.

    Pls refer below.
