Document attach missing from Receivables transaction entry GP 2015

Posted on by 75,730

The document attached function appears to be missing from Transactions->Sales->Transaction Entry in GP 2015. It is there for Sales Transaction Entry. Should I enter this as a product suggestion?

This drives me crazy. There are many more steps required to attach a note versus the Document Attachment Management functionality.

I think the confusion is in that Transactions->Sales->Transaction Entry is actually the Receivables Transaction Entry window, not the Sales Transaction Entry window.

In the Receivables Transaction Entry window, if you click on the Note button next to the Number field, it will open the Note window, which has the 'paper clip' button to launch Document Attachment Management from.

There's also a 'Add Note' menu option, but it only allows a note to be added, no document attachments.

    Thanks,

    Hi Richard,

I don't understand your question (unless I'm misreading it) ?.. I'm on GP2015R2 and the attachment icon is there in the Sales Transaction Entry form :
