HOW TO CLOSE APPROVED PURCHASED ORDER

Hi!

I recently make a Purchase order for a fixed asset. So, the asset is already received but it was bought by an employee therefore will be paid thru the employee (reimbursement). How will I close the approved PO associated with the Fixed asset?

the process doesn't sound right. My understanding is that you need to post the purchase order and make payment to close it. then reimburse the employee in a separate step.

Thanks for this! That should be the process. But I would not really pay the vendor directly so when I post the PO, it will be an outstanding Invoice since I will not really pay the vendor because the employee is the one purchase the item and pay for it. So how will I close the posted PO?

no matter who pays the vendor, you need to create a payment in BC and apply to the invoice to close it. as for how you deal with reimburse the employee, it would be an internal process separate

Hi, There is no function to close orders in BC.

But can't you reopen it and delete it?
