Number of AX customers and users

Lately I wondered how many customers and users work with Microsoft Dynamics AX. Does anybody have an idea? How many of them are working on AX2012, AX2009 or prior versions?

    Hi André,

    This information should be existing within Microsoft based on Licenses and Support Agreements Issued by Microsoft :)

    Why are there more Dynamics NAV users than any other? Because this is a count of worldwide customers. Dynamics NAV has a huge customer base in Europe. If this was a count of only US companies, Dynamics GP would have the highest amount.

    Hi usingAXinAustralia,

    Try to contact a partner or Microsoft. I know there are multiple companies running AX in Australia, but don't know the numbers. I had some contacts with a partner in the past for their add-ons.
