you would need to create a custom entity to do that. It is always better not to insert transaction data directly, you can create journals, etc using DMF and then use posting to create transactions

I created a custom entity for the assetTrans. But the problem is, that within the same assetId and assetGoup there is more than one record to be inserted. AX updates existing rows instead of inserting them.

Which fields are the key-fields for the decision of insert or update a record???

    Ronald,

Do you have a solution? I am having a same problem but with a different table.

The table has ItemID and InventDimID but it's only updating the same record regardless of the index or the field changes.

    Hi Andrew,

I solved the problem by adding a Connection DMFAssetTransEntity.Voucher=AssetTrans.Voucher in the AssetTrans relation in the DMFAssetTransEntity table.

    And this worked.

    Regards

    Ronald

    Hi Andrew & Ronald,

Could I know the reason why you are directly inserting the data in to Transaction tables instead of creation  journals and posting ?

Is there any logic behind that ?
