workflow sends email automatically after every 30 minutes

I have created a workflow on Cases where if the owner is NOT user A and if this user assigns a case to some other user (User B), the workflow sends a notification to User B. However, the problem happens when the same email is sent out every 30 minutes automatically.

    Hello,

    It seems that there is some thing which need to be fixed within the rules that we have used in the work flow. Please attach the screen shot of the workflow rule or provide more information regarding the steps that are added.

    Also check if this workflow is set for recursive notification.

    So CRM doesn't show recurring emails sent in either System Jobs or Activities (Email). However, in Activities (email) it displays the status of "Sending".

    I believe the email goes to the exchange server but the email from this user keeps getting fired after every 30 minutes. I created a case as well and assigned it to another user but the email went out once upon creation. Any guidance?
