GP2010 SmartList Refresh/Update Prompt

Hi,

I gave access to smartlist builder to a co-worker, but when creating a new smartlist report or adjusting current ones, when done the pop up Refresh/Update prompt screen does not appear on his end. How can I provide him access to that (Refresh/Update prompt screen) without giving him full SA access, would that be possible?

You can setup a new task called: SmartList Builder. Then once you complete the below steps, assign the task to the user.

Category: Other

On Product List: SmartList Builder

On Type: SmartList Builder Permissions

On Series: Smart List Builder

Then you can give them all the tasks associated with a SmartList Builder Session:

Create a Go to that opens a Dynamics GP form

Create a Go to that opens a file

Create a Go To that opens a website

Create a Go TO that opens another SmartList

Create a Go To that runs a procedure

Create SmartLists with SQL tables

Enter Calculated Fields

Update SmartList

View SmartLists with SQL Tables

But the Update SmartList would be the one that you really need to give him. That will run that Refresh/Upldate prompt.
