Warehouse App Task Validation: Object reference not set to an instance of an object error

Hi!
 
in our test automation framework we need some steps recorded with Warehouse App Task Validation. 
Since a few days some of our already recorded and working tasks don't run - they all show /Object reference not set to an instance of an object/.
Same happens to new recorded tasks, the only thing working are recordings without any user input. So I can record clicks through the Warehouse Management App hierarchy. 
 
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    I did some testing, recording tasks, and running them without a problem.
    Can you provide an example of a task that is not working anymore?
     
    Which product version and app version are you working with?

    Hi, 

    it's mainly our return order tasks - the ones that worked aren't any longer and newly generated ones occur with object reference not set to an instance error immediately after recording. 
    The xml-files also look different, we did some coding, because mainly attributes like selected, preferredinputmode etc. were missing. 
    But also new recorded order packings don't work, the "old" ones still do. 
     
    Installed product version : 10.0.35 (10.0.1627.64)Installed platform version : Update59 (7.0.6972.82)
    Installed app version: 2.1.12.0
