To extend the length of the invoice number more than 20 characters , Microsoft given a feature, but in that feature description they mentioned that
1.if there is any customized code to extend the invoice number length , then you can enable this feature "Extend the length of invoice number for vendor invoice" it will work seamlessly.
2.And they also mention that if there is no any customized code for invoice number length increase you before enable this feature "Extend the length of invoice number for vendor invoice" contact Microsoft to enable this flight "EnableEdtStringDatabaseStringLengthAttributeInComputatio" .
In the above context the description is little confusing what I think is , if there is custom code, you no need to enable feature what (Microsoft given to increase length of the invoice number) or If you do not have custom code you need to enable feature .
please clarify my confusion. Thanks in Advance.
