Is it possible to set a prefix on RMS POS transaction numbers to use Alpha Numerics. We would like to do it like this S1-XXXXXXXX and store 2 as S2-XXXXXXXXX.
RMS help says nothing if Alpha is allowed or not.
We are having Active Reports conflicts with sales reporting due to duplicate transaction numbers in the store databases. We get conflicts even if we isolate reports to 1 store's sales data.

Thank you for posting about a reporting issue you are seeing.
There should not be any duplicate transactions in the store database.
Are you seeing results when you run the following:query against your store or HQ database?
select transactionnumber, storeid from [transaction] group by transactionnumber, storeid having count(*) > 1

According to Microsoft Support (No answers on the forums from anybody) You can not use alpha numerics in the Transaction number field.
Is there anyone out there using letters or symbols in there transaction numbers, I need an answer quick.
