Hello!
I believe a similar question was asked on a previous Forum post, here's the link to that post: community.dynamics.com/.../622740
I have also pasted the details of the response below, hope this helps!
From my testing you would set up everything as you normally would for a Vendor with one exception, a different Payment Method.
You setup the Bank Account as the Credit Card so you manage the Payment posting through this. You would set up a Payment Method with a Balancing Account to the Bank Account for the Credit Card. So on the Payment Method, there should be a Bal. Account Type = BANK and Bal. Account No. would be the Bank Account you created that is your CC company, you will likely need to set up a new Payment Method.
You assign the Payment Method to the Vendors which you pay with your Credit Card, the Payment Method is on the Vendor Card under the Payment section. When you post an invoice for this vendor, the vendor balance would be $0, the Bank Account for the credit card would contain the outstanding balance.
You would then use a General Journal to move the money from the Main Bank Account into the Credit Card Bank Account to essentially "pay off" the credit card.
Here's some detail steps:
1. Setup a Bank Account for the Credit Card, you will need to specify a Bank Acc Posting Group here too specify an account where you want the balance to be stored.
2. Create a Payment Method (use the search and type Payment Methods to open this window). Create a new Payment Method that has a Bal. Account Type as Bank Account and the Bal. Account No, would be your Credit Card Bank account from number 1 above.
3. Assign this Payment Method to your Vendor, on the Vendor Card under the Payments section.
4. When you post a Purchase Invoice for this Vendor, the Vendor Balance will not change. Instead, the balance will show in the Credit Card Bank Account as a negative.
5. Using a General Journal post money from the main bank account into this Credit Card Bank Account to essentially pay the credit card.
There may be someone working on a customization to accomplish this differently, but I haven't seen a specific one, maybe someone in the community has heard of something?
The steps above are just one way I have seen people work through this type of process, but you will want to do these steps in a test company to make sure that appropriate accounts, etc. are affected and will work for your process.

Jennifer Reinhardt
