Dear all,
refrring https://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/microsoft-dynamics-ax-forum/270487/virtual-companies-cross-data-sharing-alternative-in-dynamics-365-ee; we also have a similar scenario. There are 40.000 released items which are all equal for all legal entities. We thought to use cross company data sharing. There was the idea to split the master data from the released product into different sections mentioned in Supply chain data sharing templates. But we choose a solution to export the released items from the "main" legal entity and import to all other legal entities.
Will there be any further concepts for cross company data sharing?

Isn't each item related to an item sales tax group, which is a different setup for each company?
Or is the tax setup identical across all of your environments?

Released products is not supported by Microsoft for cross-company data sharing ( you can create your own data package but without support from Microsoft ). in LCS you can find supported tables for data sharing.
You follow the Data Import/Export Framework approach.
