Hi partners!

I want to create a Real-time Customer Journey to send email to invite people to register for an event and then send a survey based upon people who registered for said event.

Here are the steps I took:

  1. Started with a segment.
  2. Send Email (attached my email to it)
  3.  If/Then Branch (email linked clicked)
  4.  Attribute (Branch 1 - Register Now!)
  5.  If/Then Branch (A Trigger is activated - Maketing Event Registration Created - Filter: Marketing event reference equals /Event name/
  6.  Yes - Send an email (thank you for registering and filling out this survey)
I can't seem to get step 5 to work. Once I register I don't get the thank you email with the customer voice survey attached to it. Am I missing a step here?

ThanksDengliang Li! I was able to get it to work. I have a support ticket with Msft because the flow failed for no reason in the background. Msft support corrected the issue.

    Thanks again

Using the out of the box trigger "Marketing Event Registration Created"
The "Marketing Event Registration Created" trigger is an out-of-the-box trigger in Dynamics 365 Marketing that is used to trigger actions based on attendee interactions such as webinar check-ins and form submissions[3]. This trigger is used to create an Event Registration record and is the starting point of a flow in a trigger from the Dataverse connector[1].
To use this trigger, you need to create a custom trigger to use in your marketing email(s) and journey[1]. You can select one of the Event Registration Triggers or choose the Event[5]. Once you have created the trigger, you can use it to send emails, attach emails, and set up If/Then conditions[2].
It is important to note that the "Marketing Event Registration Created" trigger does not have the ability to do anything about a calendar invite (ICS file) [1]. If you need this functionality, you may need to create a custom trigger or use additional triggers[3].
Overall, the "Marketing Event Registration Created" trigger is a useful out-of-the-box trigger that can be used to trigger actions based on attendee interactions. However, it may not have all the functionality you need, and you may need to create custom triggers or use additional triggers to achieve your desired results.

    Hi,

Based on the information you provided, we conducted tests.
This is the Journey we designed, and the results show it is possible to receive the thank you email.
