Tax Details report

ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to extract a standard report from Dynamics GP 2010, of the list of VAT/tax transactions that appeared in a period of time, also transactions with 0% VAT.

I would like this to be a standard report not a smartlist.

Thanks

    Hi,

Go to >>Administration >> Routines >> Company >> VAT Return.

Options to print report in summary, detail, tax detail, or exception.

    Hi Shan,

    Thank you for your reply.

However this report does not full-fill all the required information. I would like to have a report sorted or grouped or filtered by VAT Codes as well.

The report needs to be used as a proof and extension to the VAT Return reports, you mentioned.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I believe there is a default smartlist for this already (Check under the company series).

The table that contains the information you require is the TX30000 ("Tax History" table).  So you can choose your reporting tool of choice and create a report with that table.

    Thanks,

    Justin

    Hi Justin,

yes there is a smartlist under Company > VAT Return, however we require a standard report in this instance.

I guess a custom report acquiring information from TX30000, would be the ideal option.

    Thanks

    Hi,

There is also a report under:  Reports - Company - Taxes - Tax Transactions Report

And, just for clarification regarding the smartlist:

    Thanks,
    Justin

    Hi Justin,

Yes that is the correct smartlist I was mentioning.

Will try and work around the Tax Transactions Report you mentioned above.

Seems like the closest standard solution I can get :)

    thanks a lot!
