What is the best practice to integrate MS Dynamics CRM 2015 (on prem) with Project Online? Is there native integration available or would this require a 3rd party product.

There is no native integration with CRM 2015, it would require a 3rd party product.
However, if you upgrade to D365, there is the Project Service module which does native integrate to MS Project.
I guess the question is "what are you trying to get from Project Server?"
I am looking for something like this too.. any solutions? so far i am struggling with building a console app to pull data from Project online to process it locally and push into CRM 2016(on premise).
