Hi all,
after performing platform update on local VM (DevBox) and doing a syn with the version control afterwards. I am getting following error:
Model reference 'ABC' in Model 'XYZ' cannot be located. This is an indication that model store is in broken state.

I also tried to delete these packages from my local repos and resync with version control but still problem persists.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Best Regards

    Hello,

Have you checked the descriptor file for XYZ and see if model ABC is referenced there or not?

I am unable to find custom packages in model store although they are included in packages local directory.

In that case you need to delete all your custom models - Do full dB synch - Get only the ABC models from the version control - Build and synch the model - Clear the errors and then get the latest version of XYZ model.

    Thanks,
    Girish S.

Thanks everyone for your input. Actually, due to this problem I am unable to see ABC model in model store. Although ABC is present in packages local directory.

My experience is that this error message sometimes reports a completely different package that the one actually causing a problem, therefore don't focus on it too much.

Hi, Try removing model ABC reference from the Descriptor file in XYZ model. Then compiling and DB sync.

    Hi,

Error says the Model ABC is missing.
Try building the ABC model alone and see if there are any build errors.
Also, when did the error throws? I mean error throws after build or synch?

    Thanks,
    Girish S.
