Greetings,
Not sure this is the right place to be posting this since it does involve more than just GP in the issue. Anyway, here is the scenario:
I am currently in the process of moving over our virtual servers from one cluster to another. How I am doing this is simply copying over the .vhd files from one SAN to the other and then creating a new VM shell for them and attaching the VHDs. I did this last night to our GP server. I brought it up this morning and everything came up just fine, but when the users went to log into GP, it gave them the error:
"A product installed on your computer is on a different version than the database version. You will not be able to use the application until this issue is resolved. Use the GP_LoginErrors.log file in your temp directory to assist in resolving this issue."
My question is, since this is an exact copy of the old server (which works just fine), why are they receiving this error?
Any assistance with this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeremy
