Embed a chat widget in a power page

With the new updates to Portal and Power Pages following the instructions on how to embed a chat widget to a portal/page are no longer working for me. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/dynamics365/customer-service/embed-chat-widget-portal

I can create a content snippet for the chat widget code in power pages but following the available documentation it fails to render. Is there an additional step now required?

Embed a chat widget in a power page

Hi,

The official documentation you refer to provides two ways to embed a chat widget.
1. I encountered the same issue as you when I embedded the chat widget using the Power Apps portal.

Then I solved the problem using the Synchronization Portal configuration.

2. I pasted the code for the chat widget into the HTML source code <body> of the website

There were no problems and the chat widget displayed normally.

Embed a chat widget in a power page

Thank you Denliang,

I can confirm that by embedding the script in the HTML source <body> using vs code has solved this for me.
