I tried to test purchase order workflow approval tempalte in power automate. But I got this error. It sents email to the approver, but once approved it does not update the P.O to released status and does not send the approved email.

Error - ErrorCode: Application_DialogException The workflow step instance id {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000} was not found. CorrelationId: 4e7435d2-d330-4e21-aba1-66300a617c6b.
clientRequestId: d1fafe63-1a41-4183-a91a-9471f3685724.

Any idea about this? I tried by creating new purchase orders, still the same issue. I tried it even normal way (without going to test mode in power automate, just created a purchase order and sent it to approval in Business Central)

    Hi Nirmala Karunarathna ,

I think during the approval process there is a Dialog or Message box is display where the Powerapps is not able to handle that, can you please confirm in the whole process if there is any Dialog or Message window is coming up.

Also please check the below link.

    Thanks.

    HI,

The "Workflow Step Instance ID" should have been gotten in the first step. Does this first step get "Workflow Step Instance ID" right?

And "Workflow Step Instance ID" will be used in "Execute Action".

By default, "Workflow Step ID" is set in the template. Make sure it is also set up correctly in your workflow.

As other basic checkpoints, I would suggest checking that Environment and Company are the same value in all steps. The API category should be "workflowEndpoints".

I just post a blog article trying to create purchase order workflow with template.

Workflow step ID is not visible in first step and also in conditions (Yes, no blocks).

The workflow step instance will only show up in the dynamic content from the initial trigger. “Raw inputs” should not display. Delete the action and add it in again. I put it after the check on the email address. Which is the condition shown in your last screen grab.
