Weekly copy contacts / accounts from Dynamics 365 to Salesforce using Power Automate

Posted on by 181

Hi all,

I'm currently working on a Flow in Power Automate which exports data (specifically accounts and contacts) from Dynamics 365 to Salesforce. When I looked through the templates, there is one named "Weekly copy contacts from Salesforce to Dynamics 365". This is similar to what I need, but it goes the other way. I was wondering is there a template which copies data from Dynamics 365 to Salesforce?

Sincerely,

Jason

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

I believe you can do this, Salesforce Connector supports "Create a record" action:

I do not have access to a Salesforce environment to test, but here is the outline:

    • Trigger it either on record creation or weekly:
      • Record Creation: On CDS "When a record is Created" (select Contact from the tables list).
      • Schedule: Use CDS "List Rows" action to list contacts created within last 7 Days or use a flag to identify delta (newly created records).
    • Add Salesforce "Create Record action" (or use this in for each section if you are listing multiple contacts).
    • Do the field mapping for Salesforce Create Record.
    • Optional: Add CDS Update a record action to mark a flag in contact table to identify it is synced.

Let us know, if you face any problems.
