Data Deletion - Deleting Invoiced Blanket Sales Orders - Status must be open error message

(0) ShareShare

We got quite a few Blanket Sales Orders that are released and we have created the sales orders and shipped/invoiced them already.

When I tried to use the Data Delete >>> Sales Document >>> Delete Invoiced Blanket Sales Orders

I am getting an error message telling me that the Blanket Order status must be open.

Does this mean, all those Blanket orders that was released and completed shipped/invoiced - need to reopen so that we can delete it?

    Hi Berlinda,

I tried to replicate the problem but for me it worked without errors.

I tried the released status with and without outstanding qty I also tried it with a approvals enabled.

Is there anything else in the error message? Is it telling you which Blanket Order is causing the problem? You could try to delete it manually maybe that would bring you closer to the solution.

I was able to delete a blanket order that is already fully shipped and invoiced in a released status manually. There is no error that comes up.

    (I used F4 to delete)

When I tried to used the process under Data Deletion >>> Sales Document >>> Delete Invoiced Blanket Sales Order

This is the error I am getting.

Status Must Be Open in Sales Header Document Type = "Blanket Sales Order", No.= '12-FGDBSO-00002'

I am just trying to delete just this one blanket order

There must be a TESTFIELD(Status, Status::Open) somewhere, let me check.

    Hi Berlinda,

I didn't find anything that would throw the error message.

Have you used the routine successfully before? Do you know if the routine is customised?

It would be a good idea to enable the debugger while you run it to see where the error message is coming form.

This is the first time we are using this routine. It is a standard routine and we did not customized it.

Will enable debugger to find out what is causing the issue.

    Thanks for your input.
