Hi,
I am new to this field service area. I am trying to close a work order and generate the Invoice after completing the work of a Work order.But I am not able to understand how the Life Cycle of a work order work.
Any help would be appreciated.

Invoices are getting generated but it does not show what Workflow does it? we have to go to Invoices to check the invoice creation. How do we get the invoice information in the Work order?
I have added an inventory product that shows total amount and the line status is used
System status = closed and posted
Field service settings are as u mentioned and a
all Field Service workflows are active
Still I dont see any workflows started or any invoice being generated. Please guide

I am facing the same issue... The WO status is active but no invoice has generated yet . What did u change?
Somehow I am able to generate Invoice of the work order in trial,but the work order is still in Active State.
I haven't got any Instances available at the moment that I can check on.
Have you done an Advanced Find for Invoices? Can't remember whether it associates Invoice with something you wouldn't suspect.
Only other things I can think of is having the product as used and not estimated?
yes i have checked the administration section in Field Service, the invoice creation is set over Closed -posted status.
I didn't get any error while changing the status to Closed Posted.i have also checked the system jobs, i din't find any system job regarding work order entity.
I haven't bothered with the invoices for a while. Can you check if any system jobs or background process are running against the work order.
Did you also follow Thomas's answer that invoice creation is set to yes in the Administration section of Field Service?
Do you get a Business Process Error when saving as Closed Posted. I take it the and Booking against the Work Order is completed.

I have added a work order product to Work order which is having a Amount(work order product).
Also changed the work order status to Closed-Posted.
but the work order is still showing as Active and no invoice got generated.
Am i missing something?
