    Hi, Jillian

You can track Emails and Contacts with Server-Side Synchronization.

    1. Navigate to Settings > Administration > System Settings to set the Server-Side Synchronization.

    1. Navigate to Settings > Email Configuration > Mailboxes to test and enable the mailbox of the contact.

    1. Navigate to Personal Settings > Email and select the email messages to track in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

    1. After setting, the emails will be automatically synced to D365.

You can also sync them by right-clicking them and categorizing them as ‘Tracked To Dynamics 365’ manually.

Dynamics 365 APP for Outlook is also recommended. Here is a guide about how to use it: Dynamics 365 App for Outlook User Guide (Dynamics 365 apps) | Microsoft Docs.

    1. You can find the e-mails you tracked in the timeline of the Contact form.

They also exist in the Related-Common of the form.

Hi sorry this is not what I mean, when I send emails using the marketing module I don’t see those emails that I sent at a contact level in the customer service module even though I use the same contacts

    Hi,

    Sorry for the misunderstanding.

The type of the emails from the two modules are different.

The email from the Marketing module is called Marketing email, which is a powerful tool for your marketing campaigns.

And the email from Customer Service module is called Activity email.

Activity emails get delivered to just one or a few people, whereas Marketing emails get delivered to many thousands or more at a certain frequency.

So the Activity emails cannot be selected in Marketing module due to the differences in type and purpose of use.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Nya
