Number Sequence not working

I have created number sequence in axapta 2012,But it is not working.And there is no error in code or any anywhere.So please tell me why not working.

Hi Amolak,

have you assigned your new number sequence to the module in which you want to use it? Normally you have to do this in the setup of the module.

Hi Amolak,

Please specify where you did use this number sequence. It is used on standard AX features or on a customization? Was it set to use continuous number sequences? Is the number sequence manual?

If something is not working, please tell the current behavior. Aren't you getting a new number or is the number not released when you have setup to have this number sequence continuous?

After you create NS, can you plz test it first ?

To create new number sequence you have to follow a procedure, by mistake if you skip any of the step or method your number sequence won't work. So Please make sure you haven't done any mistake either at configuration level or coding level. There are several blogs available which you can follow. I'm sharing a link of one of them.

Hi AMOLAK,

Write code in form level data source which u want the number squence

MAK_WorkerTrasfer.TransferEmployeeCode = NumberSeq::newGetNum(HRMParameters::numRefYMEPermentEDT(),true).num();

try this it may work.

I have used NumberSeqModuleHRM Class And used HRMParameter table.Number Sequence created for Human Resource module.
