About Account statement by currency report in D365FO

Dear all,

We plan upgrade AX 2012 R2 to D365FO in next time.

I find out that Account statement by currency in AX 2012 R2 not available in D365.

(in AX 2012 R2: General ledger > Report > Transactions > Groupings > Accoutn statement by currency.)

I can find Vendor/ Customer account statement,

but I cannot find Account statement by currency in D365.

Could you please suggest us using other report similar or develop new report in D365FO?

Hello HOA,

In D365; you can go to General ledger > Chart of accounts > Accounts > Main accounts. Select the main account and click on Account statement.

In the parameter; you can determine whether you will generate the statement based on Accounting only or both Accounting and reporting currency.

Also; in the Records to include section; you can specify the range of currencies for which you want to generate the account statement.

Hello HOA,

Summary account will not display here.

But you can atleast display the currency total by setting the Currency Total check box enabled in the parameter.

Hi HOA,

I just saw this thread and thought why you really still using printed reports?

We have the trial balance list page that can show you the accounting and reporting currency amounts. If you run it you can quickly export the data to excel and do some additional calculations, etc.

Then we have the financial (management) reporter in addition that you can use as well to create reports in accounting and reporting currency, use for currency translations, etc.

Over the last couple of years I saw a considerable decrease in the use of those 'statement' reports in accounting and believe that this is mainly because most people find the alternatives that I mentioned a 'better' option.

Probably check those alternatives out and let us know how they work for you.
