Hi all,

Does anyone help to explain what is the purpose of "Check date difference check box" in Cash and Bank Parameters for? As my understanding, this field is useful if my company using cheque - the days needed to fill in is the term of cheque - when performing the bank reconciliation, AX will not reconcile this cheque? Is it correct?

Thanks you very much,

    Hi,

In some countries Banks have validity for cheque payments, e,g, If a cheque is issued on 1st March and validity is 3 months, then if the cheque is presented in bank after 31st May ideally bank should not pass this cheque after and 31st May but inadvertently passed by the Bank. But during reconciliation AX will not allow to reconcile this check and it will help to reveal the mistake/ fraud.

    Hi,

Select this check box to enter the number of days that can pass before manual reconciliation of a bank statement must be completed
