Hello there,

I am at strange behaviour of CRM online.

When i am creating Mail Merge Template and i upload a word document worth size of 80KB, i got error like File Could Not Be Uploaded. The attachment is too large. The maximum file size allowed is 8192 kilobytes.

But my file size is 80KB.

What may be the problem here ? Frustrated.

    Hi Milan,

    have you checked the email settings under system settings  in CRM?

    Got the answer... Firstly you need to save Mail Merge Template and then upload the file.It works.

    In our case, this issue was happening when we try to upload a word document as a template. 

    As per https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/admin/work-mail-merge-templates

    Only Word .xml documents can be used as templates.

    Could you confirm that the template you are trying to use is a Word .xml document? To verify, Open the document and click on "Save As" and verify that the Type is "Word XML Document" and not "Word Document"
