Reuse a number from number sequence

Hello everyone,

I need little guidance...

The scenario is: While creating vendors(Ex: Vend-000009 I mistakenly closed the page. The vendor is not created, but the vendor number (Vend-000009) is blocked. When I start creating another vendor it is starting from(Vend-000010) the following number which is blocked. How to start from that blocked vendor ID(Vend-000009) again?

Hi,

Please go to number sequence for vendor and check from status list and delete if there any number.

If not there, please change the next number to 0009

Hello Ramit,

Thank you for your response.

I cleared the Status list and Did change the next number. but I still get the error "Number is already Exit"

I am attaching an error snap product creation. in this, I did the doth what you suggested, but still, I am getting this issue

The error message says something else - that there alredy is a record in database with the number (or with a conflict on another unique index).

Please check the status list again and your product master, if the same number is already created in product master then delete it from status list and change the next number to +1 of last created record.
