D365 CE on-line (9.x) Developer Guide

Posted on by 102

Hi Experts,

There is an only on-premise developer guide document now on Microsoft/Doc website. I wonder can I reference the same Document with my 365CE online project development.

Please give me some suggestions or some update information.

As Praveen Thonda mentioned, all the content apply on CE online customization as well. SDK and the related documentations are replaced by Developer Guide . Developer Guide is a part of  docs.microsoft.com now and has all the needed documentation.

Have a look at the below links for your clarification.

For D365 Online Developer guide, please refer the app wise guides:

    D365 Sales: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-enterprise/developer/developer-guide

    Specific to CDS: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/common-data-service/overview

D365 Customrer Service: Refer Developer Guide tab in this link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-service/help-hub

Similarly for other apps also, technical information is available in Docs

    Hi ,

All the content shall apply to the D365 CE online customizations as well. Most of the time it is self evident if any thing is only specific to on-premise or online. Many a times it is always called out if the explanation(documentation) is not common for both Online and On-Premise.

If you come across any ambiguity while going through the document samples or explanation, please reach out to us either through support channels or via this community questions. You will be sure to find an answer.
