We have just updated BC365 with the new pricelist functionalities. I am having issues finding the correct way of managing our data. We have about 200.000 different articles and about 20 different suppliers. We would like to put in the Purchase prices and discounts in to the system for each product and each supplier. Only specific items are supplied by a specific supplier.
What is the best way to manage this?
I see when you go in to a article and you select “prices & discounts" --> Purchase prices the next page (price list lines) you are able to select edit in excel. Only issue is here it does not allow you to add or delete any products. Only edit the existing ones.
If next we click on “Open pricelist” I unfortunately don’t have the option here to Edit in excel. We are only able to open in excel so this Is also no option.
I did try and do it true the suggest lines function but I can’t seem to figure that out. I am able to get all items in there but this is also not the wanted result since not always all items are supplied by a specific supplier. We just want to add the specific lines for that supplier. And with lets say 5000 lines it is not easy to delete the ones which are not carried by the specific supplier.
Hope one of you knows what I mean by this and you know an effective way of working to get this going.. I am probably seeing this wrong.
