Has anyone resolved this type of issue?
Issue:
User is able to track emails however in some instances the user receives the following
Error message:
An unknown error occurred while synchronizing data to outlook.Item Name = ….
System Configuration:
User OS: Windows 10
User Email Client: Outlook 2016
Email Server: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 V14.2.247.5
CRM: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 on-premise (CRMVersion: 8.0.0000.1088)
Outlook Add-In: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Outlook (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=620443&clcid=0x409)
Trace Log Details:
The trace files found in c:\users\....\AppData\Local\Microsoft\MSCRM\Traces show as the last entry prior to the display of the error message.

Steps taken to resolve:
1) Repair of installed Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Outlook - Did not work
2) Uninstall, Reboot and reinstall - Did not work.
