Hello,
Is it possible to print checks for a different company while logged into another company? We have a situation where we have many companies and when it is time to print checks, it is necessary to log into and out of each company to print those respective checks from. Ideally to optimize this process we would like to say be logged into company 0001 but be able to print checks for any other company. Does Dynamics SL allow this? Any help/insight is much appreciated.
Thanks.

In a multi-company setup using centralized cash, payment of transactions on behalf of the other companies can be done through the master company. The due-to and due-from entries are created automatically.
One of our clients upgraded to SL6x to SL2011 a few years back, and their practice before the upgrade had been to process separate check batches for each company, not from the master company (no centralized cash). They were able to see and print all check batches while signed into one company. Support confirmed that was not an option in SL2011, that logging into each company was required to process checks in that company.
To get around requirement, a customized version of the stored procedure enforcing this rule was created to allow the customer to continue using this method of processing AP checks. I would expect that similar logic would control the process in SL2015.
