I am trying to change the decimal places on quantities and get the message:
Item exists on Purchase Order Processing Transactions and could not be updated.
I have searched for open POs, PO Receipts, inventory transactions but not able to find where this is message is coming from.
How do I find where this is coming from or do I have to set up a new item number?

Yes..obviously correct.But before that they need to remove Item exist on documents right?
Use change Decimal Places in the Inventory -> Utilities
before doing the above step please delete the specific item from all the open transactions.
