Hi CRM World,

I got the business requirement to develop following complex reporting. Please let me know if it is possible or not with fetchXML code in D365 online? If not possible, what are my alternative options to develop this report?

Report: For case entity we have 3 status reasons (active, cancelled, resolved)

Date(created on)           Count(total)                   Status (active count)          Status (resolved count)           Status (cancelled count)

24 May                             26                                19                                            5                                               2

23 May                             49                                 12                                           30                                             7

Hi, I have had a report requirement like this before. Using FetchXML, you would be able to make four separate tables which are aggregated and grouped by day (see msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg309565.aspx), but you wouldn't be able to join them into one table due to limitations of FetchXML.

I found that MS Power BI was a good way of producing complex reports like this. It took a day or two to learn enough to be able to produce something like this.
