I am creating a trial balance report from standard one. When I am drilling-down at account level  I am getting all the financial dimension details in the description and account codes.

I just want simple main account code and Name of the Main Account and debit, credit details.

can somebody help me removing these FD details

    Hi Jasdeep,

Once the report is generated you can download it to Excel.

Once you are in Excel you can - for example - use a macro to design the report as you like.

Alternatively, you can use the text to columns option to split up the string and eliminate the unnecessary elements.

I would try going for the macro if you are familiar with that feature.

Otherwise, it might be a bit of manual formatting work to do.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

    Thanks for the reply.

If you could tell me the steps for doing it in excel?

    Regards,

    Jasdeep

    Hi Jasdeep Singh,

This is something that you cannot influence.

There is no parameter or setting that would allow you specifying what account-findim combinations you see at the drilldown level.

The only thing that you can do is exporting the report to excel and then removing the unnecessary findims and "-' symbols.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
