DIEF-Financial dimension 0 does not exist

Good Day

Please assist. I am trying to upload a payroll journal using the entity "GL Open Trans".

When I upload the csv file that has dimensions i.e 432100-CFO-IT,it does not upload.

It goes to staging and is verified successfully. When I click "copy to target" it has an error of financial dimension 0 does not exist

The second error is:

Error executing code: Illegal object code. Recompile script.

The lines that only have 432100 as a dimension and not the characters, do go through.

Note: I am not a developer, but I am willing to learn and get problems resolved.

My environment is AX2012 R3

We have recently updated our test server to CU13 and the upload works perfectly.

On R3,I am able to do a budget upload with dimensions that include characters.

Hello AngelAX,

Make sure you are following the same main account and dimension combination pattern what you set in the "Configure account structure" and "Financial dimension configuration for integrating applications" forms.

Example; account structure combination is MA-BU-CC-EMP.

And you are uploading data for main account + business unit + cost center but no employee. Then make sure you set the combination as MA-BU-CC-

Otherwise system will not be able to validate the combination as set in above 2 forms.

Review the data you arranged in your file and then upload it.

Hi AngelAX,

In AX2012, you can set which dimensions to use and in what order on the Source data formats. Did you do this setup correctly?

Hello AngelAX,

In CU9 there was a similar issue for which a hotfix has been released by MS.

Can you check with your development/system admin colleagues whether have have modified something in the past and/or whether this is another new issue with CU13?

Thank you all for the feedback.

Our SP has advised that we continue to upgrade to CU13,since our test environment is already on CU13.

CU13 has a fix for the DIEF issue.
