Real time analytics dashboard permissions

Hi

Which role or permissions need to be granted so the users will have access to the "Analytics" dashboard in realtim marketing?

    Hi Barak,

    You should be able to view Analytics tab without any specific permissions configured. I would suggest you file a support ticket so that the team can look into that.

    Hi,

     

    Regarding your question about assigning user roles to access the Real-Time Analytic dashboard.

     

    First you need to make sure that the account you are using has a license to Dynamic 365 Marketing. If you do not have the relevant license, you will not be able to access the application.

     

    Secondly, you need to add users to the environment where the application is located and assign security roles. At its simplest, you can assign a system administrator or a system customizer.

     

    However, we strongly discourage you from assigning these two security roles to general users, as they have extremely high privileges. Improper user actions can lead to serious consequences.

     

    For general users we recommend replicating the Basic User security role and adding the Data Analytics Report_MKT Entity permissions. The specific image is shown below. You will also need to add the custom role to the relevant application.

    For some specific users such as managers, experts. We will also copy the security role of the user and add the above permissions to the security role.
