Payables Batch Entry - Specified Input Path for the Output Doesn't Exist

Our site just finished an upgrade from GP2015 to GP183. As part of the transition they also upgraded the third party KwikTag product.

This morning we have a user that is getting the following message when opening the "Payables Batch Entry" window: "Specified Input Path for the Output Doesn't Exist". I suspect it is related to the third party product, but wanted to check if anyone else has received the same error when working with that screen.

Please advise. Look forward to a response.

I normally run across this error with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables departments when they are trying to post their daily batches. The error is normally ... Do you mean the error "The specified path for the Output does not exist" as the error message?

If that is the case then you might have the reports set to an output path that is invalid.

Go to Tools>Setup>Posting>Posting.

Select The series needed (purchasing in this case).

Select the origin.

In the bottom of the window, ensure that the output paths are valid.

It's not uncommon to post through GL as well so if you are set to post through GL, you will want to check if the GL posting journal has an invalid default path as well.
