ReportScenario:
SQL Instance A has two Dynamics Databases.
Dynamics Database A has one company
Dynamics Database B has Six companies
Desired Outcome:
All Companies on Dynamics Instance B so as to obtain consolidated financials.
Hence, I want to migrate the One Company from Dynamics Database Instance A to Dynamics Database Instance B such that all 7 databases will work on Instance B.
Question: What happens with the currency?
I am creating all the currencies from Dynamics database A in Dynamics Database B so Company A can exist on Dynamics Database B. The currency IDs do not overlap between the two (just by the way).
Will i need to execute a script to update the currency indexes?
Or will the system just refer to the new currency indexes created in Dynamics Database B as it would just join on currency ID?
