Multiselect option on CRM form

Hi,

I have a requirement where i need to add a "multiselect functionality" so that user should be able to select multiple options from the drop down. As it's not feasible OOB, any suggestion to achieve this.

    This is available out of the box with the July 2017 Update to Dynamics 365. The update has already been released, but upgrades to existing Dynamics 365 are probably a few months away.

    You can get a trial version to test it out.

    I would wait if you can.

    If you are unable to wait, you can take a look at some ISV options. Sonoma Partners has one of them.

    I am aware about July 2017 Update to Dynamics 365. But can i do some customization so that i can achieve it on online CRM 2016?

    Basically to achieve similar results in CRM 2016, you can use an ISV solution, or you can use a N:N relationship between your entity and a lookup entity (not exactly the same, but would allow you to select multiple options).
