How to upload file to external website directory?

I am using CRM Online and I have a custom entity that is using notes(Annotation) for image attachments.

I've already started to create a plugin that will execute each time a new annotation is created, but I need the ability to take the image and upload it to a website directory. I tried to accomplish this using the c# FtpWebRequest class, but I get sandbox security errors.

I did some research and saw that I can only use HTTP protocols in sandbox (I think), so I tried to do a download and it works easily with just "WebClient().DownloadString("file url")" . How can I use an Http protocol class to uploading an image to a website directory?
