Dear All,

I am new user to the GP. Every time I post a transaction in GP (Payment, sales, invoice or watever). It is not posting. I need to find it some where and post again. Why the GP is not posting on 1 time posting.

As Babu said, this is because your Posting setup is not set to allow transactions to 'Post Through' General ledger, or you are using the Transaction Post option (hitting the post button from the transaction entry screen) on the subsidiary modules. No matter what setting you have in Posting setup, a transaction posted from the transaction entry screen will not Post Through.

Not having the Post Through box checked is the default setting for GP, so if these settings were not customized, they will all be set to just 'Post To' general ledger. Here's what the window looks like:

Hi Sajjad,

I think you are posting Payable / Receivable or any other module batch and its not posting all the way through GL and it might create a financial batch which you go and post it from Financials.

Please go to the following window and select your module and tick the box post through GL.

Administration >> Setup >> Posting >> Posting
