Error: The field Bill-to Country/Region Code of table Sales Header

Hi,

I have created a Sales Order in CRM and it has successfully been sent to Business Central under "Sales Orders - Microsoft Dynamics for Sales". However, when I go to "Create in Business Central" I get the error "The field Bill-to Country/Region Code of table Sales Header contains a value (UNITED KIN) that cannot be found in the related table (Country/Region)."

Any ideas how I can fix this?

    Hi Ian,

    The problem here is that country codes in D365 Sales / CRM do not match the ones in BC. That's usually the case if BC is integrated to D365 Sales with their demo data. In BC we need to use standard ISO3166-1 Alpha 2 Country codes as this is required by regulatory reporting and in banking transactions, whereas D365 Sales has some random country codes lik UNITED KIN, or USA, whereas they should be UK or US. 

    Easiest way to fix this, is to change country codes in D365 Sales / CRM data to match the ones in BC. 

    Creation fails here as BC does not know what UNITEK KIN country code is, whereas it has UK country code.

    Hi Ivan,

    Thanks, this is very useful. It works with GB in CRM, but not Great Britain or United Kingdom.

    We will need to change CRM to use only these codes. We'd rather use the full country name i.e Great Britain, in CRM but only GB appears to work when integrating to BC.

    BC appears to be happy when we use no Country in CRM.
