Can anyone suggest a addon that will scan documents, automatically attach them to Purchasing transactions, and optionally even read document amounts etc directly from the scan?

We have integrated a number of products in the UK which provide this functionality, namely Version One and Easy software but I do not know if they are available in your country.
The main issues when integrating these products are around integrating with POP (integrating with payables is far simpler). This is because the products can use a templating system where you define a template for each supplier so that the OCR software knows where to look for the fields (e.g. date, invoice number, amount, etc.); the issue around POP is that if you want the OCR software to read the items it becomes complex as the number of items varies from invoice to invoice.

I don't know if you have found a solution yet but ReadSoft can do what you are asking. Their INVOICES solution automatically learns and captures invoice data which can be fed into your ERP system. Happy to answer questions if you have any.

I am an integrator of the INVOICES software, including the hosted version which has a direct integration into Dynamics.
Thanks for the reply amnms. I am looking for a partner which provides invoice automation solution and am hoping to check if there is any Dynamics GP community users who has experience working with these third party software like ReadSoft, ABBYY FlexiCapture and EFlow.
Does your software requires Integration Manager or Smart Connect tool in order to integrate the invoice back to GP?
