Integrating GL entry with AA

I'm working on a GL Journal Entry with Analytical Accounting and have encountered the following error:  You cannot map source recordset 'xxx' to destination recordset 'Analytices' and it's child recordset 'Analytics Dimensions'.  Delete the mapping to one of the destination recordsets.

Mapping is as follows:

dollar amount to destination 'Analytics' amount field

Transaction Dimension ID to 'Dimensions' Trandsaction Dimension ID field

Transaction Code to 'Dimensions' and Transaction Dimension Code ID field

the source file currently contains one column for the amounts including non analytical accounts as well as analytical accounts.

I tried removing the mapping to the Analytics amount field but received the same error.

Ideas appreciated, thanks!

    I'm also having the same error, I was following these steps (support.microsoft.com/.../2687958) to set up a GL Transaction Integration with Analytical Accounting in Microsoft Dynamics GP, but when I got to GL Transaction (No Sequence required) Step #35 that same error appeared. Did anyone successfully resolved this issue?

    Ian - I was just wondering if there was any further knowledge on this topic.  I'm having the same issue and this is the only place I find it referenced.  I have done everything you suggested to no avail.  Thanks!

    Hi Debi,

    When you install IM, some sample intgrations are installed as well. Look through these and see if there are any that integrate AA data along with a GL journal. I'm not usre if there are, but its worth a look.

    If you can integrate just the GL part, that is a start. Now add the AA stuff and make sure each mapping you set is warranted / corrct, and see if it will integrate. Are there any other messages / errors generated?

    My suggestion to enter the journal manually, was to see if any error messages are returned if you enter the exact transaction you are trying to integrate. It might give you something to go on.

    Thanks Ian,  I am able to integrate without the AA data and am going to enter the AA detail manually.  However, I would like to determine why it's not integrating.  I don't have the sample integration and haven't seen it on the site.  Can you point me in the right direction?

    Not sure. Its certinly a mapping issue in your integration.

    Try removing all AA data and see will a standard GL integration work and work up from there. Also try entering the transaction manually, sticking to the mapping you have designed. You could also look at the sample integrations and see how they work.
