User is chosen as Sales person

Hi! I have just upgraded to 25.2. I now realise that when I open a new sales order, the sales person is not copied from the customer card, it became me as a user.

I am not sure this is happening because of the upgrade or not? Is there a new setting that I should be aware of?

Hi,

I tested on 25.2 and its working fine. If you have any custom app installed ,try uninstalling it and then try.

Hi,

Can you please provide more details.

When you are creating a new sales order and select customer then in Salesperson code field is your user id being filled? or something else.

@Saurav.Dhyani Yes, when I open a new sales order and choose customer, my own Sales person code is being filled. Not the Sales person from the customer card.

Hi, Try deleting the Salespers./Purch. Code in User Setup. As far as I know this should be the standard behavior.

Hi! I am sorry but I don't quite follow what is the standard behaviour or not.

Until now the standard as I know it have been that the Sales person follow to the sales order from the customer card.

If I didn't want that to be the case, the sales person on the customer card would have been empty. Then it have catched the sales person from the user setup.

(That is how we do it in purchases, which mean I cannot remove the salesperson/purchase person from the user setup.)

The users table and the sales person tables are 2 different tables. Maybe the naming happens to the be same for you on those tables. You could ask the admin to remove the sales person code for you on the user setup page.
